🎊🎉Join Us on SALT’s Final Countdown!🎉🎊

Seafood Alliance for Legality and Traceability (SALT) started in 2017 to promote legal and sustainable fisheries by expanding electronic traceability to benefit our ocean economy, environment, and seafood laborers. We tackled this challenge by bringing people and ideas together to learn from one another and facilitate collaboration to spark creative solutions. We created the Comprehensive Traceability Principles, hosted multiple learning events, and applied the Principles with our local partners. After almost six years of hard work, SALT is coming to an end, but the great resources and community will live on. To make our final year a truly impactful one, we are planning multiple virtual and in-person events. There is still plenty of time to engage with us! To start…

Traceability Principles Crash Course Webinar

Starting in March, SALT is hosting three webinars to provide both conceptual and technical details of the Traceability Principles to help drive the further success of participants' traceability journey. Participants will also hear from SALT's local partners to learn how the Principles are implemented in real-life settings.

In this webinar, SALT will introduce two of the six Principles: "Be inclusive and collaborative with stakeholders" and "Use data to inform decision-making." These Principles are particularly important in the early phases of traceability program development to understand what data are needed and how to use the data to achieve multi-faceted goals.
